Good to know

A few common questions.

What do I need to run it?

A machine that stays on and Docker. The bundle includes a guided setup wizard for your access key, Telegram login and storage. For a remote server, you open the wizard through a secure SSH tunnel.

Will you keep or read my files?

No. The app runs on your machine and transfers files directly from Telegram to your storage. We receive only small licence checks — never your files, Telegram login or storage password.

Which storage can I connect?

Nextcloud and SFTP are available now. Nextcloud supports an app password or an upload-only share link. For SFTP, the wizard generates a key for a dedicated write-only user.

Which Telegram account does it use?

Your own, connected by QR code inside the setup wizard. We recommend a secondary account: heavy automated downloading can draw Telegram's attention, and the session stays only on your machine.
